Antrim Wind

As every new development has the potential to impact our ecosystem both positively and negatively, we are proud to offer our academic and professional expertise, providing visual analysis as well as expert legal testimony throughout the approvals and development processes.  Our most recent Visual Assessment & Analysis project, Antrim Wind, required our assessment of a range of New England ecosystems; including agricultural areas, woodland parcels, and streetscapes.  Within these ecosystems, we evaluated specific design elements and principles to understand the overall constraints and opportunities that might materialize during development; the preservation of existing historical/cultural viewsheds, the maintenance of existing vegetation buffers, selective clearing, underground versus overhead utilities, the repair of existing, and the installation of new, roadways and traffic calming measures, new structure orientation, color, and material selections.
