The Garden on Constitution
This private residence was the recipient of a new 3-story residential “wing” that houses the garage, the movie room, the master bedroom, the family room, and the screened-in porch.
Terraink worked closely with the architect from the conceptual design phase through the construction documentation and observation phases to maximize sight lines to and from the house while sculpting a series of outdoor spaces within the property to take advantage of the natural 16’ elevation change from the back of the house to the front driveway. The final master plan for the site achieved the initial project goals with the incorporation of an open lawn space in the front yard, an interchangeable driveway and informal basketball court area, terraced patios and seatwalls and a shade garden that boasts an elegant, trickling water feature to assist in the sound attentuation from adjacent properties.
Our Story

“We are so inspired by and appreciative of our community of peers, clients, and employees. We work hard to have a positive and inspiring impact on every landscape we touch while improving the experience of everyone on our team, no matter the scale of the project or services required. We truly love the work that we do and are excited for the future of this rapidly changing and rewarding field.”
JADE & KELLIE
Our Team

Kellie is a registered landscape architect experienced in all phases of site design and implementation through to contract administration. Kellie holds a Master in Landscape Architecture degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. Kellie is adept at balancing environmental and aesthetic needs with user and site engineering requirements. She is additionally experienced in providing visual impact assessment services, having evaluated numerous projects with respect to visual impacts and potential mitigation measures. She keeps our work focused and our operations on point every step of the way. Along with Jade, Kellie is a visiting instructor at the Rhode Island School of Design teaching sustainable design and construction each fall semester.

Mariana brings over fifteen years of landscape design practice in a wide range of public and private land development projects and has an acute understanding of the design process, including the ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary teams. Mariana has experience in larger scale planning processes through the development of a citywide Open Space and Recreation Plan and its complete (39) Playground Safety Inspections. Having been part of several rewarding community outreach processes, she understands the vital role that stakeholders play in the successful implementation of any project, the importance of integrating the client’s goals and the community’s needs, with the realities of site constraint, schedule, and budget.

Kelly received her Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Since her graduation, Kelly has been immersed in her hands-on experience within the design-build field, which accelerated her passion for her projects, her clients, and her colleagues. She has recently become a Massachusetts Certified Landscape Professional (MCLP) and looks forward to furthering her knowledge as she is earnestly working toward her professional licensure!

We don’t work all the time! We really mean it when we tell our employees (and remind each other) that work is not everything and sometimes, what we do outside of the office brilliantly informs our work Monday–Friday.
